Position Summary
The Fiduciary Advisor Specialist will enhance the client experience by servicing clients and providing operational and administrative support to the Fiduciary Services Team.
Duties & Responsibilities- Coordinate strategic planning initiatives and business development opportunities for the Busey organization
- Assist in new prospect research, planning relationship reviews, and event coordination
- Through direct support of Fiduciary Advisors, the Fiduciary Advisor Specialist may also assist in developing new relationships through prospecting and building community networks
- Onboard new clients by arranging client meetings, compiling and completing presentations, preparing annual reviews, and assisting with account opening and closing procedures
- Collect tax information for clients’ annual returns and assist Advisors with coordination of tax year-end processing
- Monitor daily financial reports and cash positions in clients’ portfolios to verify accounts are not overdrawn, and cash balance is adequate to support ongoing cash needs
- Maintain the integrity of client files; verify that proper documentation is appropriately filed in accordance with policy and procedure
- Review and distribute daily and monthly reports to team members, including fee reviews
- Provide support for client communications
- Assist Advisory Support Team with project management and other tasks as needed
- Research, balance, and prepare periodic court reports for Estates and Guardian ships
- Establish recurring receipts and distributions, ensuring items are processed in accordance with account agreements and other governing documentation as well as all policies and procedures
- Resolve compliance matters, this includes but is not limited to; accurate account reviews, adherence to policies and other controls in place, gathering all required information from clients, and demonstrating a high level of understanding of regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Manage risk mitigation by adhering to Busey policies, appropriate client identification methods, and appropriate verification methods needed for an array of tasks.
- Serve as an escalation point to resolve minor service issues for clients, provide feedback to leadership on solutions to improve overall client service experience.

- Ability to:
Advanced word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software skills - Multi-task, set priorities and deadlines with some independence, and perform duties under frequent time pressures
- Complete CFP, CFA, CTFA, or CPA designation
- Bachelor's degree in business/finance required. Two or more years of related experience in the financial services industry with high-net-worth clients preferred.
Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.
(Base Pay Range: $24.27 - $29.73/hr)
