Our client, an asset manager in Chicago, is looking to add an Accountant to their Fund Administration and Analysis team.
Responsibilities- Review funds' portfolio of investments
- Work with an external auditor on the process of coordinating annual investments
- Assemble reports and analysis for trustees
- Prepare/monitor investments for the firm's committee
- Resolve any discrepancies after reviewing daily funds total assets/shares reconciliations
- Evaluate monthly reporting fund packages
- 1-3 years of fund financial reporting, accounting, staff accountant, or related
- Bachelors in Accounting
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Self-starter and ability to meet deadlines
- Enjoys independent work as well as collaborative teamwork
