Key Responsibilities:

Financial Leadership: Provide leadership to the finance and accounting teams, ensuring optimal financial performance and streamlined operations.

Financial Reporting: Oversee the development of all financial reports, statements, and audits. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with standard accounting practices and regulations.

Strategic Analysis: Analyze the company's financial details to identify development opportunities and areas for cost-saving.

KPI Management: Define, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with the company's objectives and growth targets.

Reconciliation: Manage and streamline reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Team Organization: Create an organized and efficient finance team structure. Recruit, train, and retain top talent in the department.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departmental heads and executive leadership to ensure financial strategies align with organizational goals.

Budget Management: Prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring departments adhere to their financial limits.

Risk Management: Monitor financial risks and design & implement effective strategies to mitigate them.

Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest trends in the trucking industry, leveraging industry-specific knowledge for financial planning and decision-making.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s or MBA is preferable.
