Finance Controller

Our Oakbrook $300M Logistics client seeking a hybrid Finance Controller to join our growing team of over 1000 employees. They offer:

They are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, highly analytical and detailed individual that can work with minimal supervision supporting business activities in the US and Mexico.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for month end close, budgeting, forecasting, and assisting with external audits.
• Review working capital and cash flow needs.
• P&L review of gross profit and indirect/direct expense analysis
• Facilitate intercompany clearing and transaction analysis
• Supervise and oversee accounting team.
• Review, develop and evaluate internal control policies across budgeting, cash, and financial reporting.
• Work with external tax, audit, and compliance agencies to support US and Mexico interests.
• Consider and develop improvements such as ERP consolidation, credit/collections, electronic invoicing and more.

Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field: master’s degree or CPA certification preferred. Logistics industry preferred but not required.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with 3+ years supervisory.
• Advanced Excel and database skills.
