Overview
The Wealth Advisor will serve as the primary point of contact with Wealth clients, maintaining existing relationships and developing new client relationships.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop a deep knowledge of the client’s entire financial and family situation to structure a goals-based investment management strategy and financial plan. Serve as the client’s primary contact and deliver on Client Service Standards to maximize satisfaction, retention, and acquisition. Generate sales leads through cross‑function collaboration, centers of influence, and personal contacts. Gather personal data and information on financial situation, goals, objectives, and risk.
Select appropriate FFB asset allocation strategies according to client goals and risk tolerances. Implement strategies for new and incremental assets. Coordinate portfolio requirements or special client situations with the FFB Investment Committee. Deliver annual investment reviews and communicate updates on portfolio strategies. Use financial planning to drive client retention and acquisition. Serve as client advocate and strategy consultant on the FFB Investment Committee.
Complete regulator investment review requirements for assigned client accounts and adhere to departmental compliance guidelines.
Five (5) years of successful investment and/or portfolio management experience; experience with clients requiring medium‑complexity investment management and financial planning. Relationship management experience with clients required. Knowledge of investment solutions, risk management, asset allocation, and program design. Demonstrated knowledge and use of financial planning software. Preferred business development experience. Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate investment management and planning options.
Banking or financial services experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field. CFA/CFP preferred. Demonstrated commitment to professional development. Knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
Degree of independence and decision‑making required; no supervisory responsibilities.
Physical requirements:
occasionally lifts up to 20 lbs; frequently lifts up to 10 lbs; frequently sits, stands, and drives.
Associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by State and Federal law and regulation, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti‑Money Laundering, OFAC, and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements, as well as all other lending and deposit compliance requirements. Adheres to all departmental compliance guidelines.
Pay Range$74,000 to $100,000 annually.
