- Build and understand complex financial models.
- Perform complex financial analysis with minimal oversight.
- Create high-impact presentation materials using PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other relevant software programs.
- Complete research and maintain information databases as required.
- Work well as part of a team in a high stress environment and under tight deadlines.
- Develop good working relationships with peers and senior bankers in the Corporate & Investment Bank and the rest of the organization.
- Manage priorities while working on a number of high priority opportunities simultaneously.
- Complete credit and corporate finance overview and analysis independently.
- Serve as support to the Managing Directors and be capable of making internal and external presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Investment Banking M&A.
- MBA typical but not required based on prior experience.
- Proven track record of contributing to the origination and closing of complex financial transactions as part of a team.
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79, and Series 63 licenses (or ability to obtain within company policy).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrates expertise in financial modeling and analysis, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Capable of managing multiple high-priority projects while building relationships within the Corporate & Investment Bank.
