Job Description:Duration: 1 year
Pay: $55-60/hr.
Our client is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst – FP&A to support the Business & Technology Services (BTS) organization within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO). This role will provide financial planning and analysis support, drive budgeting and forecasting activities, perform financial reporting, and deliver insights that support strategic business decisions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate FP&A, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and variance analysis, with the ability to partner with business leaders and communicate financial insights effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide FP&A support for the Business & Technology Services organization, including Cybersecurity and Nutrition business areas.
- Manage financial planning activities including budgeting, forecasting, headcount analysis, capital planning, and expense management.
- Lead monthly financial close activities, including journal entries, financial analysis, and research across multiple financial systems.
- Analyze financial performance and provide reporting on actuals vs. budget, forecast, and prior-year results.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports, executive presentations, and management reporting packages.
- Partner with business stakeholders to provide financial insights, identify risks and opportunities, and support strategic decisions.
- Support quarterly Latest Best Estimate (LBE) forecasting cycles and ongoing financial planning processes.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed by finance leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or corporate finance.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Experience with SAP, Hyperion Essbase, and Power BI.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment and effectively partner with stakeholders at all levels.
- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
- Experience supporting technology, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or large corporate environments.
- Experience developing dashboards, financial models, and executive-level reporting.
