Expected pay for this position is $59.90 - $70.47/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
This is a Hourly position.

This position will support pharrmacy services for Medi Park Pharmacy in Peoria, IL.

Part time schedule of 16 hours per week. The work schedule is as follows:

Rotating shifts every other weekend and one shift weekly. Pharmacy hours are Monday-Saturday 8:00am-10:00pm and Sunday 10:00am-10:00pm

POSITION SUMMARY: The Retail Pharmacist reviews prescriptions, obtains clarifications and analyzes drug therapy. Responsible for compounding and dispensing medications according to established policies and procedures of the professional of pharmacy. Supervises pharmacy technicians in the preparation of medication.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Licensure/ Certification:
Current Illinois State Pharmacist License

American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required within 90 days of hire.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education:
Bachelor's Science Pharmacy or PharmD

Experience:

3 years of experience in Retail Pharmacy

Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and various other medical personnel when explaining medication use and gathering and exchanging other medication information. Analytical skills necessary in order to determine drug appropriateness and evaluate drug interactions. Strong customer service skills. Ability to multi-task.
