Rehab Services Technician – Illinois Bone & Joint Institute

Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, LLC (IBJI) is looking for a Rehabilitation Technician at our Willowbrook, IL location to assist clinicians in delivering high‑quality orthopedic physical and occupational therapy services. The position is part‑time, 30 hours per week.

Job Summary

A Rehabilitation Technician works under the general Technician Supervisor and Management Team at the site of employment. This role supports the staff with a team‑oriented approach, providing exceptional customer service and care to improve patients’ overall quality of life.

Essential Duties
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication to therapy patients, therapists, physician staff, and clients in a fast‑paced orthopedic rehab office.
  • Perform daily clinic maintenance: clean treatment tables and equipment, change linen, stock supplies.
  • Keep exercise equipment orderly and ensure patient safety.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checks and stay compliant with IBJI guidelines.
  • Assist clinicians with exercise programs by setting up equipment and modalities, and communicate observations to therapists.
  • Print home exercise programs under clinician direction.
  • Maintain inventory of clinical and non‑clinical materials.
  • When assigned to front‑desk duties, check‑in patients, schedule appointments, collect co‑pays, scan documents, and answer the phone.
  • Support the rehab staff and management team daily.
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient identity.
  • Engage patients of all diagnoses, ages, and backgrounds.
  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude and punctual attendance, and adjust flexibly to established work hours.
  • Perform any other duties assigned.
Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma minimum required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Detail‑oriented with effective time management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Windows, MS Office, and email.

Hourly pay: $15–$16.
