Interim Cardiac and EP Manager Needed in Illinois! The Position
  • An Interim Cardiac and EP Manager is needed to stabilize operations, strengthen clinical excellence, and rebuild a culture of accountability and patient safety across the Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology departments.
  • Reporting to the Cardiology Director, this leader will oversee 34 FTEs across six labs.
  • Key responsibilities include stabilizing staffing and reducing turnover, elevating clinical excellence and patient safety reporting practices, strengthening competency validation and cross‑training programs, addressing educational gaps, and rebuilding a collaborative, accountable department culture.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong Cath Lab and Electrophysiology leadership experience, demonstrated success transforming team culture, and the ability to step in clinically during high‑acuity situations. Must be highly organized, patient‑focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
  • Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.
Requirements
  • BSN required;
    Master’s degree preferred.
  • Active Illinois RN license required.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology required; extensive hands‑on Cath and EP clinical expertise required.

Pay Details
  • Pay Range: $160,000 - $170,000 annually.
  • The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
  • The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
