An established residential behavioral health program in Peoria, Arizona is seeking a Licensed Adolescent Therapist to join its clinical team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide impactful therapeutic services to adolescents facing complex emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. The role is ideal for a licensed behavioral health professional who thrives in a structured, team-oriented environment and is dedicated to delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care.
JobDuties & Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to adolescent residents
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans aligned with best clinical practices
- Collaborate with families, school systems, and referring providers to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation within the EMR system
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and clinical consultations
- Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and behavioral support within the residential setting
- Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in adolescent mental health
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field
- Active Arizona licensure (LAC, LPC, LCSW) or eligibility for licensure within 90 days
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with adolescents
- Strong knowledge of adolescent development, trauma-informed care, and behavioral health diagnoses
- Specialized training in trauma-informed care, DBT, or systemic family therapy preferred
