Position Details
Salary - $80,000 - $100,000 annually based upon experience.
Full-time 40 hours per week.
PTO - accrued biweekly to equal 5 weeks annually.
Holidays - 10 paid holidays off per year in addition to PTO.
Health Benefits available on day 1 of employment.

Position SummaryUnder the supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health-MAT/FMOB, the Program Manager will be responsible for daily management and operations of the organization’s Behavioral Health Program. The Program Manager will provide administrative/clinical supervision to the program staff to ensure all services are delivered according to local, state and federal laws and compliance. This position ensures the integration of behavioral health with primary care, supervises clinical and non-clinical staff, and supports the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
The manager oversees therapy and counseling programs, supports Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and substance use disorder (SUD) services, and drives operational excellence through clinical supervision, workflow optimization, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage day-to-day operations of Behavioral Health services, ensuring alignment with FQHC standards and integrated care models, while maintaining a modified patient panel that balances clinical and managerial responsibilities.
- Oversee clinical workflows, documentation practices, and case review processes.
- Coordinate staff scheduling, caseload distribution, and productivity monitoring.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with HRSA, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide leadership to the therapy and counseling teams through clinical supervision and reviews, consultation, training, and support to ensure compliance, program quality and best practices.
- Supervise licensed (e.g., LCPCs, LSWs) and unlicensed clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to support licensure and professional development.
- Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate ongoing training and education.
- Oversee therapy and counseling programs, ensuring evidence-based practices and culturally competent care.
- Support and integrate MAT and SUD services into behavioral health programming.
- Collaborate with medical, psychiatric, and care coordination teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Evaluate individual and overall team performance on a regular and ongoing basis; use collected data and information to make needed improvements including adjustments as needed to Therapists’ caseloads and work assignments to maximize quality of care, and staff productivity.
- Ensures that participant and program goals (program, finance, personnel, professional development, and training) are met in accordance with established contract program policies and procedures.
- Actively participates in the development of program budgets and monitors program performance according to set budget guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Assist in program planning, budgeting, and grant compliance.
- Prepare reports and updates for the Director of BH/MAT and participate in strategic planning.
- Actively monitor assigned performance goals and professional development in accordance with organization expectations.
- Conduct semi-annual performance evaluations for counseling team; proactively identify and resolve performance issues.
- Assures that staff and program goals (clinical, financial, personnel, professional development, and training) are met in accordance with established program policies and procedures, organization expectations, and state law.
- Actively participate with hiring and orientation process of new staff members.
- Participate in professional development networks and associations to stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices.
- Complies with and enforce organizational administrative procedures and policies to ensure efficiency and reduce delays and complications.
