Expected pay for this position is $29.30 - $34.47/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

Position Summary:
The Simulation Research Coordinator collaborates with investigators and research staff to coordinate educational and translational research activities related to OSF’s Jump Simulation Program, and other relevant collaborative projects. This individual will support all aspects of research Research Coordinator is responsible for adhering to research protocol, procedures, process. The RC is responsible for maintaining study compliance with all Institutional Review Board (IRB) and OSF Compliance policies.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in the sciences required before start date OR significant relevant research experience. - Experience:
1 year of research experience. - Other skills/knowledge:
- Knowledge of research regulatory bodies and compliance, FDA rules and regulations, IRB processes and procedures.
- Proficient with software packages including, but not limited to, MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Analytical skills necessary to gather and manage data. This may include data interpretation and moving from data to graphic or tabular information.
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to maintain cooperative working relationships with Jump staff, investigators, collaborating institutions, and patients/learners.
- Ability to read and write in order to review and update participant profiles, understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to type at professional levels of speed and accuracy.
- Formal training in use of Excel and other Office programs.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical terminology.
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn software including survey software (Qualtrics, Select Survey, others), qualitative research software (Nvivo, MaxQDA, others), and databasing programs (MS Access, others).
- Experience with data handling from educational data systems such as Blackboard, Canvas, and via observational tools for audiovisual data.
