Cytotechnologist

Pride Health is seeking a Cytotechnologist to join a team in Peoria, IL 61637. This is a 13-week contract opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

• Perform cytology testing and microscopic evaluation of specimens.
• Prepare, examine, and interpret cytology slides accurately.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of test results according to laboratory standards.
• Document findings and maintain accurate laboratory records.
• Follow all laboratory, safety, and regulatory procedures.
• Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff as needed.
• Use Epic for laboratory documentation and workflow.
• Maintain competency and comply with department quality-control requirements.

• CT(ASCP) – Certified Cytologist required.
• Active Illinois license required or application must be initiated before submission.
• Large hospital experience preferred.
• Experience working in an acute-care laboratory preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.
• BLS (AHA or ARC) listed as a submission requirement.

• Location: Peoria, IL 61637
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Local Pay range: $55-$59/hour

* Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.

Travel Gross Pay: $3100 - $3200/Week
