Medical Technologist & Lab Technician, Clinical Research
Pride Health is seeking a Cytotechnologist to join a team in Peoria, IL 61637. This is a 13-week contract opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Key Responsibilities- Perform cytology testing and microscopic evaluation of specimens.
- Prepare, examine, and interpret cytology slides accurately.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of test results according to laboratory standards.
- Document findings and maintain accurate laboratory records.
- Follow all laboratory, safety, and regulatory procedures.
- Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff as needed.
- Use Epic for laboratory documentation and workflow.
- Maintain competency and comply with department quality-control requirements.
- CT(ASCP) – Certified Cytologist required.
- Active Illinois license required or application must be initiated before submission.
- Large hospital experience preferred.
- Experience working in an acute-care laboratory preferred.
- Epic experience preferred.
- BLS (AHA or ARC) listed as a submission requirement.
- Location: Peoria, IL 61637
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Local Pay range: $55-$59/hour
* Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
Travel Gross Pay: $3100 - $3200/Week
