This is a 40 hour per week position.

Work hours are somewhere between 7 am and 5:30 pm dependent on the position and patient needs. Some positions may work on a Saturday rotation with hours between 7 am and 12 pm. This position may require traveling to all of our locations.

Responsibilities

To perform an extensive number of data collection functions as delegated by the physician to allow for proper professional diagnosis of patients and to do so in a way that instills patient confidence in the treatment. Demonstrate ophthalmic technician skills.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Essential

Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the eye, optics, testing techniques, utilization of equipment relative to position.

  • Patient management skills
  • Efficient on computers, type at least 30 wpm

COA, COT, or COMT certification
