We are seeking a full-time Radiation Oncology Physicist to provide expert medical physics support for radiation therapy services, including external beam, brachytherapy, SRS, and SBRT.
- Support a collaborative, physician-partnered practice environment
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (IEMA, NRC, ACR, DNV)
- Oversee equipment acceptance, commissioning, calibration, and quality assurance programs
- Develop and maintain departmental physics policies and QA procedures
- Serve as Department Radiation Safety Officer, leading radiation safety and shielding initiatives
- Collaborate with clinicians and staff to optimize treatment planning and delivery
- Participate in quality improvement, safety meetings, and strategic planning
- Assist with staff and student education and technical training
- Support innovation, clinical projects, and program development within radiation oncology
Qualifications include a Master’s or PhD in Physics or related field, certification as a Specialist in Therapeutic Radiologic Physics (A ), and licensure as a Radiologic Technologist – Radiation Therapy (IEMA).
Preferred experience in medical physics or a clinical setting is advantageous.
