American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of experience for an acute care setting requiring ARRT and BLS certification.

• Acute care Interventional Radiology department with 6 procedure labs, pre-op and phase 2 recovery areas
• Average of 20-30 cases per day
• Patient population includes vascular, neuro, drains, and lines cases
• Job duties include scrubbing, passing supplies, and setting up/breaking down procedure rooms
• Uses EPIC EMR and Philips monitors
• Charge RN covers  shifts, assists with cases and lunch coverage but does not take patients
• Unit staffed with IR Techs and 1 PCT
• Schedule consists of 4x9 hour day shifts per week with call requirements
• Weeknight call required (7-9 shifts in 6 weeks)
• Weekend and holiday call required
• Call response time is 30 minutes
• No floating required; assignment is dedicated to either cath lab or IR
• 3-5 days of unit-specific orientation provided

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist required
• ARRT and BLS certification required
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Active state license required if applicable
• Experience with vascular, neuro, and line/drain procedures required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care IR setting

• Scrubs provided
• Local candidates accepted; local rate applies for those within 50 miles of the facility
• No radius restriction for eligibility
• Negative drug screen required for consideration
• COVID vaccination not required
• Facility observes a call-off policy equivalent to 12 hours per 13 weeks with no penalty
