Surgical Technologist – Methodist

We are seeking a Surgical Technologist to provide direct and indirect surgical care, assisting surgeons during operative procedures across various specialties.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and setting up sterile fields, instruments, equipment, and supplies efficiently and accurately.
• Scrubbing on procedures from simple to complex, adapting to surgeon preferences, and maintaining readiness for routine and emergency cases.
• Anticipating intraoperative needs, managing unexpected events, and providing timely interventions.
• Mentoring and precepting staff and students, fostering team collaboration, and ensuring effective communication.
• Participating in quality improvement and safe patient care practices, including on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications include:

• Associate’s degree or Surgical Technology certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
• Open to new graduates.
