Expected pay for this position is $29.30 - $34.47/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
Position SummaryA Clinical Dietitian is an expert in human nutrition and medical nutrition therapy. The Clinical Dietitian assesses nutritional status of patients based on their individualized needs and goals and develops and implements corresponding nutrition care plans. The role of the Clinical Dietitian is to evaluate current nutrition status, formulate interventions, reassess for changes and record ongoing nutritional progress. The Clinical Dietitian is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team, and helping patients and their support system to ensure patient-centered care is achieved.
QualificationsEducation:
Bachelor's degree
Experience:
Basic Microsoft application proficiency
Previous experience with patients in a group or individual setting
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and medical billing
Licensure/ Certification:
Credentialed Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian eligible through the Commission on Dietetic Registration or must become registered within 6 months of hire.
Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) through the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation (IDFPR) or must become licensed within 1 year of hire.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
