IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology) | Rad Tech | Interventional Radiology Tech Assignment Overview
This role is for an IR Technologist specializing in Interventional Radiology within the Vascular Surgery department. The ideal candidate will have experience with vascular and endovascular procedures and must be comfortable working in an acute care setting. Experience with GE equipment is required, along with a readiness to scrub in on procedures.
Assignment Details- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3780 (negotiable)
- Shift: 4 x 9's; other schedules can be discussed in the interview
- Charting System: EPIC
- Weeknight Call: 1-2 nights during the week
- Weekend/Call Requirements:
Saturday-Sunday Call 7 am Saturday to 7 am Monday; every 3rd weekend - Holiday Call Rotation
- Call Response Time: 30 minutes
- Orientation:
Unit/Department specific, will scrub with a hospital surgical tech for a week - Floating Requirements:
Yes, within like units, assisting with Surgical Tech as well - Scrub Color/Dress Code:
Hospital provided scrubs - Trauma Level: 1
- Cancellation Policy:
Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks
- Scrubbing, passing supplies, and setting up/taking down procedure room
- Performing vascular and endovascular cases
Required:
- Active IL license or confirmation of application in process
- ARRT certification (Cannot take RCIS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least 2 years of experience with Vascular/Endovascular procedures
- Experience with GE equipment
Preferred:
- IR experience
PEL/VIP Job #. Pay package is based on 9 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
