This role is for an Interventional Radiology Technologist within the Vascular Surgery department. The ideal candidate will have experience in vascular and endovascular procedures, and should be comfortable working in a dynamic acute care setting.
Assignment Details- Department:
Vascular Surgery - # Suites: 1
- Average # of cases per day: 3
- Common Cases:
Endovascular (IR) and Vascular - Scrubbing required
- EMR: EPIC
- Shift Notes: 10hr days with call
- Weeknight call: 1-2 nights during the week
- Weekend/Call Requirements:
Saturday/Sunday Call, every 3rd weekend - Holiday/Call Requirements:
Holiday call rotation - Call response time: 30 minutes
- Floating Requirements:
Yes, within like units - Scrub Color/Dress Code:
Hospital provided scrubs - Unit/Department specific orientation:
One week with a hospital surgical tech - Estimated gross weekly pay package: $4200 (negotiable)
- Perform scrubbing duties, pass supplies, set up and take down procedure room
- Assist with up to three endovascular procedures daily
- Collaborate with the surgical team in a Trauma Level 1 care setting
- Float within similar units and assist with surgical technologist duties as needed
Required:
- Active IL license or confirmation of application process initiation
- ARRT and BLS (AHA) certifications
- At least 2 years of experience with vascular/endovascular procedures
- Experience with GE equipment
- Negative drug screen for all panels
Preferred:
- Interventional Radiology experience
PEL/VIP Job #. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
