Towne Park is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. The hourly base pay range for this position is $15-$18 per hour.
Work ScheduleThe work schedule may include AM/PM shift times.

SUMMARYThe Guest Service Associate provides exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. Responsibilities include managing parking, retrieving guest vehicles promptly and safely, and assisting guests with luggage, including delivery and pick-up during arrival and departure.

- Maintains pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients.
- Greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor, using guest last names during interactions.
- Uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests to the location, practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette, and posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks.
- Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously; assists guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed; opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests.
- Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries; provides information about outlets, meeting rooms, and/or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area; delivers messages, items, and/or guest amenities as requested; shuttles guests to approved locations.
- Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival; issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collects claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys; consistently completes and maintains all ticket information—including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey, and claim check receipt—from all vehicles in the valet system; consistently completes the location on all key tags after parking a vehicle;
calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed.
- Education:
High school diploma or GED. - Licensure:
Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment. - Work Experience:
One month of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Knowledge:
Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. - Skills:
- Read and write standard English; comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
- Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to guests, clients, and employees.
- Add and subtract three‑digit numbers and perform multiplication and division with 10’s and 100’s using units of American money.
- Understand 24‑hour and military time systems; understand rates applicable to time passed.
- Operate a manual transmission (highly desirable) and perform parallel parking.
Job is fairly routine. The incumbent follows established practices and procedures, performs tasks with specific directions, and has decisions made within operational instructions and departmental guidelines. Errors in judgment could affect the smooth and efficient operation of the department.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDSTasks require speaking or hearing, sitting or standing for extended periods, walking, running, handling objects, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Lifting requirements: up to 100 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, up to 20 pounds constantly.
Majority of work performed outdoors for extended periods, including extreme heat and cold weather. Travel of up to 5% may be required.
