Position SummaryWe are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented IT Support & Operations Technician to assist with day-to-day technical and operational tasks. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on technical ability, and a proactive mindset. The ideal candidate is observant, organized, and able to see what needs to be done and take initiative to help keep systems, work spaces, and technology running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues
- Build, configure, and deploy desktop and laptop computers following documented procedures
- Set up and maintain user workstations, including monitors, peripherals, and cabling
- Assist users with meeting room technology (video conferencing, displays, audio, presentations)
- Physically organize IT equipment, storage areas, and work spaces
- Lift, move, and install equipment weighing 50 lbs or more when required
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Follow and update technical documentation as needed
- Proactively identify and resolve issues before they escalate
- Assist with general IT and operational tasks as needed
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow technical documentation accurately
- Hands-on experience with computers and office technology
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs or more
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer-service mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Observant, proactive, and self-motivated
- Experience in IT support or desktop support roles
- Computer building or hardware repair experience
- Familiarity with meeting room AV systems (Teams, Zoom, projectors, displays)
- Experience in an office or enterprise IT environment
- Hands-on and physically active role
- Adaptable and willing to assist where needed
- Team-focused with accountability and follow-through
- Emphasis on organization, efficiency, and proactive support
