OPPORTUNITYAs an expert in defense missions, your unique skill set inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don’t. Conduct in-depth accounting and analysis of cyber and cryptographic items, determine potential future requirements and deployment schedules, and work with the client to track and ensure compliance with mandatory software upgrades and hardware turn‑ins of equipment. Produce, support, and update various local and online products for customer tracking and compliance reporting. Provide field support for Algorithm and Cryptographic Transition and Cryptographic Modernization (CM) issues as needed.
As a Defense System Analyst, bring your knowledge and skills to the most pressing technical capability requirements across all platforms and networks, collaborating with experts in communications from aircraft to networks to space systems to keep warfighter communications secure and resilient.
- 2+ years of experience as military staff, including coordinating taskers using established staff coordination standards, conducting document reviews, and preparing program updates, bullet backgrounds, and point papers
- Experience with Communication Security (COMSEC) equipment and keying material processes
- Experience with controlling authority roles and responsibilities
- Experience with equipment custodian roles and responsibilities
- Top Secret clearance
- Associate’s degree
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Knowledge of strategic DoD and AF security policies related to cryptographic and keying material, classification guides, cryptographic algorithms, equipment, and COMSEC keying material
- Knowledge of the operations and sustainment tactical data link systems and their applicability in the conduct of combat air operations
- Ability to develop working hypothesis and theory to address current and future system requirements
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- CISM, CISSP, or similar Certification
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;
Top Secret clearance is required.
Salary range $61,900 to $141,000 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
