Software Engineering Manager

Our client is looking for an Engineering Leader who can bridge the gap between high-level commerce strategy and the granular realities of a modern codebase.

• Architect Resilience:
  Drive technical decisions across modern stacks (PHP, C#, Go, Node.js) and commerce frameworks like Magento 2 to ensure 99.9% availability.
• Scale the Human Element:
  Direct the hiring, onboarding, and long-term mentorship of multiple engineering squads, fostering a culture of high performance and low ego.
• Operationalize Innovation:
  Integrate PWA, decoupled architectures, and Dev Ops maturity into the daily workflow.
• Bridge the Boardroom:
  Translate complex technical roadmaps into actionable business value for executive stakeholders and cross-functional partners.

• Technical Pedigree: 5+ years of experience building enterprise-level web/mobile applications with deep roots in modern programming languages (e.g., PHP, C#, Go, Type Script) and frameworks (e.g., VueJS, Node.js, Symfony, or Laravel).
• Leadership Tenure: 3+ years specifically managing engineering teams with a proven track record of shipping on time and developing talent.
• Commerce Fluency:
  Deep experience with Magento 2 or comparable modern commerce platforms and PWA development.
• Systems Thinker:
  Proficient in API development (REST/SOAP), SQL/No
  
  SQL, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Credentialed Agilist: A strong grasp of Scrum/Kanban, potentially backed by PMP or Scrum Master certifications.
