Job SummaryAs a Lead Digital Aftermarket Specialist for Wear and Maintenance Products
, you will be at the forefront of transforming how our customers and dealers interact with our digital aftermarket solutions. Your primary mission is to ensure that the data supporting these solutions is accurate, accessible, and meaningful, ultimately driving a superior user experience. You will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, working to identify and resolve data gaps, streamline data processes, and implement best practices for data management.
By leveraging advanced digital tools, including Python, SQL, Power BI, and AI‑assisted coding platforms, you will help organize, maintain, and deliver information that empowers customers and dealers to make informed decisions and efficiently manage aftermarket needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address Wear and Maintenance aftermarket data gaps and opportunities for process improvement.
- Work to improve the quality, organization, and delivery of data that supports customer and dealer needs.
- Support the development and enhancement of digital solutions that streamline aftermarket processes.
- Use tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI, and AI‑assisted coding platforms to optimize data workflows.
- Communicate data requirements to technical support teams responsible for integration and preparation.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of data‑driven solutions in supporting customer and dealer experiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in an accredited curriculum is required.
Technical Excellence
- Experience with data management tools such as Python, SQL, and Power BI.
- Familiarity with AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, Snowflake Cortex Code) is a plus.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, tools, and drive to accelerate innovation.
- Proactively identifies, assesses, and mitigates technical execution risks to minimize customer impacts.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Strong and consistent communications driving alignment across divisions (Cat Digital, Commercial and Product Groups, Cat Technology, and Analytics teams) to enable and accelerate digital tools.
- Proven ability to clearly articulate complex ideas verbally, through emails, and presentations.

- Strong customer focus with the ability to link customer needs to data, analytics, and digital solutions.
- Systems‑level thinking that connects products, data, and technology into cohesive solutions.
- Ability to evaluate data readiness, quality, and gaps; establish remediation and governance approaches to enable reliable downstream data use.
Product Design and Development
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for improving customer and dealer experiences through digital solutions.
- Ability to apply knowledge of wear and maintenance products, services, technology, and the digital ecosystem to address a variety of business and customer scenarios.
- Driving the development and application of digital and data‑driven approaches to improve dealer and customer experiences.
Top Candidates will also have
- Advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus (Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, Systems, or similar).
- Practical experience applying coding or programming skills to real‑world problems.
- Knowledge of Wear and Maintenance Aftermarket Business.
This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week at the Peoria, IL office.
Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position.
Visa sponsorship is NOT available with this position.
This position may require up to 5% travel.
