Guidewire Policy Center Developer

Job Description

LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Guidewire Policy Center Developer for a 6‑month contract‑to‑hire opportunity with our client in Central Illinois. This role is ideal for a Guidewire professional who wants to leverage their Guidewire Cloud experience while contributing to a long‑term, high‑impact engagement.

Job Summary

The Guidewire Policy Center Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting Guidewire Policy Center solutions on the Guidewire Cloud Platform, supporting releases up to and including Olos. This role requires hands‑on development experience and an active Guidewire Cloud Certification.

• Design, develop, configure, and enhance Guidewire Policy Center functionality using Gosu, PCF, rules, and product model configuration
• Build and support Policy Center capabilities aligned with Guidewire Cloud Olos standards and best practices
• Customize Policy Center workflows, underwriting rules, UI components, and business logic
• Participate in Guidewire Cloud upgrades, patches, and deployments
• Implement data model extensions while ensuring compliance with cloud restrictions
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA, architects, and Dev Ops teams in an Agile environment
• Troubleshoot defects, perform root cause analysis, and provide production support
• Adhere to Guidewire Cloud security, performance, and governance guidelines
• Create and maintain technical documentation

• 3+ years of hands‑on Guidewire Policy Center development experience
• Proven experience working in the Guidewire Cloud Platform, up to the Olos release

• Gosu
• PCF (UI configuration)
• Policy Center rules and product model
• Experience with Guidewire Studio and cloud‑based development practices
• Solid understanding of the P&C insurance policy lifecycle (quote, issuance, renewals, endorsements, cancellations)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery models
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills

• Experience or formal training with Guidewire Integration Gateway
• Experience with REST/SOAP web services and Guidewire cloud integrations
• Exposure to Billing Center, Claim Center, document production, or third‑party integrations
• Additional Guidewire certifications (e.g., Policy Center Specialist, Cloud Professional)

• Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
• Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the United States for any employer

The base pay range for this position is $30 – $60 per hour, depending on experience. Pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for new hires for this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay within this range is based on work location and additional factors, including applicable training and certifications.
