Job Summary
Are you passionate about customer success? The Cat® Foresight team is seeking a talented and motivated Manager of Digital Products to lead the development of the Cat® Foresight Condition Monitoring Module. This role will lead a team of product owners and work with internal and external stakeholders, as well as engineering teams, to develop digital product capabilities that will help our customers maintain their equipment, proactively diagnose potential issues, and plan for maintenance before the issues ever arise.

- Manage prioritization of issues, enhancements, and new features.
- Monitor and report on product value realization and usage metrics.
- Partner with industry teams to position and promote developed capabilities.
- Coordinate with engineering to develop and deploy new features and releases on schedule.
- Work with operations to monitor and analyze product quality performance.
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking:
Expert knowledge of the decision‑making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. - Effective Communications:
Extensive understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information and needs through appropriate communications behaviors. - Software Change Request Management:
Expert knowledge of software change request management; ability to manage software product change requests from customers, prospective customers, vendors and internal staff. - Software Product Business Knowledge:
Expert knowledge of and experience with the business aspects and operation of a software product; ability to manage install base, current uses, future plans and product vision. - Software Product Management:
Expert knowledge of software product management; ability to operate and manage software product development projects at all stages of the product development lifecycle. Gathers, summarizes and prioritizes ideas for new products or new versions of existing products.
- Expert knowledge of software product management; ability to operate and manage software product development projects at all stages of the product development lifecycle (typically, 10+ years of professional experience and 5+ years as a Product Manager or related role using Agile methodology).
- Experience managing people, with demonstrated ability to build trust, foster communication, set clear expectations and deadlines, conduct performance reviews and motivate, develop and empower teams.
- Proven experience leading a technical team while simultaneously managing multiple projects.
- Experience managing projects using Agile software tools such as Mingle, Dev Ops/VSTS, JIRA, Team Services, or Rally.
- Knowledge of software change request management; ability to manage software product change requests from customers, prospective customers, vendors and internal staff.
- Working knowledge of strategies, practices and tools for resolving software problems; ability to manage software problems in installed software products.
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with the business aspects and operation of a software product; ability to manage install base, current uses, future plans and product vision.
- Experience working with onshore/offshore team models.
- Demonstrated ability to empower teams.
