Position OverviewWe are seeking a Warranty Transformation UI/UX Designer to play a critical role in facilitating, generating, and executing transformational user experiences for a new warranty solution platform, fully on-site in Peoria, IL (5 days per week). You will work closely with dealers and cross-functional teams spanning product groups, industry teams, global purchasing, global quality, finance, IT, digital, and more — translating user needs into frictionless experiences that drive a new level of efficiency and simplicity for warranty operations worldwide.
KeyContributions & Responsibilities
- Analyze and document business requirements and new web features; partner with digital product owners and process owners to capture UX/UI needs.
- Provide and facilitate design thinking activities to support digital solutions; create journey maps, user flows, and personas.
- Create wireframes, visual design assets, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups; deliver polished, production-ready UI designs.
- Align deliverables to a user experience strategy that ensures a common, unified, end-to-end experience across the warranty platform.
- Integrate the warranty platform UI/UX roadmap into the overall warranty transformation program.
- Conceptualize and communicate design ideas clearly to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- You will collaborate closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders and dealer partners, working across product groups, industry teams, IT, digital, finance, and global functions as part of an enterprise-wide warranty transformation program.
- This is a fully on-site role, 5 days per week, in Peoria, IL.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience required. Bachelor’s degree in User Experience, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, New Media Design, or a related field preferred. Different educational backgrounds will be considered based on the strength of professional experience.
- Proven experience designing digital product experiences with exceptional attention to detail; deep knowledge of UX industry standards, usability principles, and current design trends.
- Strong proficiency with design and collaboration tools such as Figma and Miro.
- Experience in Human‑Centered Design (HCD) — able to understand the perspective and needs of users and deliver solutions that effectively address them.
- Familiarity with design sprints and Agile methodology; experience in interaction architecture and end‑to‑end experience design.
- Working knowledge of web software design, web-based application development concepts, and current web technology trends.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills — able to accurately assess situations and reach well‑informed design decisions.
- Excellent collaborator and team player — proactive in taking initiative and driving work forward across complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
- Demonstrated ability to actively listen, capture user and experience needs, and translate them into clear, actionable design solutions.
