UI​/UX Designer

Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a UI/UX Designer 3. The work will be done onsite in Peoria, IL
, working five days per week in the office. This is a long-term position that can lead to permanent employment with our client. Compensation is up to $57/hr + full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay).

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to support a large-scale digital transformation initiative focused on modernizing enterprise warranty operations and customer experiences. This role will be responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered digital experiences that improve efficiency, usability, and workflow effectiveness across a complex business platform. The designer will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, process owners, and development teams to translate user needs into innovative and frictionless digital solutions.

• Analyze and document business requirements, user needs, and new digital product features.
• Facilitate design thinking workshops and user-centered design activities to support digital solution development.
• Create user personas, journey maps, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
• Design polished, production-ready user interfaces and visual design assets.
• Partner with product owners, process owners, and stakeholders to align solutions with overall user experience strategies.
• Integrate UX/UI roadmaps into broader business transformation initiatives.
• Present and communicate design concepts, recommendations, and solutions to stakeholders at all organizational levels.

• Bachelor’s degree in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, New Media, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• 5–7 years of professional experience designing digital product experiences.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Miro, or similar UX/UI platforms.
• Experience creating wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI best practices, usability principles, human-computer interaction, and design trends.
• Experience working within Agile environments and participating in design sprints.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Experience with Interaction Architecture, Customer Experience (CX), and Human-Centered Design methodologies.
• Knowledge of web software design, digital product development, and emerging UX/UI trends.
• Experience leading user research activities and translating findings into actionable design solutions.
  
  Familiarity with enterprise software platforms and large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong creative problem-solving abilities and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including business, technology, and product management organizations.
