What You Will Do
- Develop assessment and service solutions for CDW customers, including analysis, technical scoping, and support for managed services offerings.
- Collaborate with customers, delivery teams, and internal sales to provide consultative guidance, plan sales strategy, and prepare quotations and technical responses for RFPs, RFQs, RI requests, proposals, and statements of work (SOWs).
- Perform costing and pricing of managed services opportunities to meet business goals, gathering key metrics to scope and price.
- Analyze technical and competitive considerations, uncovering customer long‑term goals and requirements to craft solutions that achieve desired outcomes.
- Maintain strategic relationships with customers, internal sales, and delivery management, serving as a trusted advisor to drive business growth.
- Grow influence in the assigned territory or client base through high engagement with partners, customers, and sales teammates, and be recognized as an expert in the field.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert in multiple managed services families, assisting and monitoring opportunities of varying complexity.
- Work with resource coordinators and delivery managers to ensure appropriate quantity and quality of technical and services resources are deployed.
- Collaborate with technical delivery groups to review and compile technical analysis and financial data supporting new or revised offerings.
- Lead outreach initiatives, technical enablement projects, coaching, and mentoring for other MSAs, Sales Solutions Executives, and field sellers.
- Acquire and maintain relevant technology and industry certifications as required.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and 8 years in a technical, pre‑sales, or post‑sale delivery role, or 12 years in a similar role.
• Self‑motivated and proactive professional with strong ownership, accountability, and minimal need for direction.
• Deep industry knowledge and domain expertise with understanding of market trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices relevant to Managed Services.
• Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise architecture, company solutions, and technologies to position and tailor recommendations for clients.
• Proven success collaborating across sales, product, and delivery teams to drive solution alignment and customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrated leadership in technical discussions, influence on architectural decisions, and mentorship to junior team members.
• Strong customer‑engagement and relationship‑management skills with ability to articulate needs, present complex technical concepts, and build trusted advisor relationships.
• Ability to translate business challenges into strategic technology solutions delivering measurable value.
• Exceptional solution‑design and problem‑solving capabilities with track record of scalable, secure, and cost‑effective architectures.
Areas of Expertise- Networking (Cisco, Aruba, SD‑WAN)
- Cybersecurity (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Exabeam, Microsoft Security, Crowd Strike)
- Cloud & Infrastructure (Microsoft Azure, converged/hyperconverged systems, storage, endpoint management)
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, or as business needs dictate, to support client engagements, workshops, and project delivery activities.
• Familiarity with system patching and endpoint management is a plus.
Compensation and BenefitsSalary range: $121,450 – $170,018 depending on experience and skill set.
Annual bonus target of 25% subject to terms and conditions of plan.
