IT SOX Specialist

• Lead day-to-day operations and delivery of the IT SOX program
• Serve as the primary decision maker for tactical execution, scheduling, and issue resolution
• Translate strategic direction into executable plans, quarterly priorities, and detailed SOWs
• Own on-time delivery of the SOX calendar, testing schedules, and year-end conclusions
• Coordinate remediation by triaging deficiencies, directing root-cause analysis, approving corrective action plans, and monitoring remediation testing through closure
• Track findings, assign owners, monitor remediation timelines, and elevate unresolved issues
• Produce operational reporting and dashboards for the IT SOX Senior Manager, FCG, Corporate Audit, and executive stakeholders
• Maintain program-level metrics and status
• Chair or coordinate SOX Change Advisory Board meetings and enforce CAB decisions for common IT risks and controls
• Liaise with process and control owners and facilitate SOX compliance workshops and training
• Support continuous improvement through automation, control rationalization, and standardization
• Participate in control design and change control reviews for system updates, releases, and process changes
• Maintain SOX documentation repositories and traceability between risks, controls, tests, and remediation activities
• Leverage AI and automation for automated control testing, continuous monitoring, anomaly detection, and remediation workflows

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in compliance, internal controls, ITGC/ITAC testing, or internal audit within large, complex enterprises supporting enterprise systems
• 5+ years of experience in Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
• 3+ years in a leadership role
• Bachelor's degree in IT or another related discipline is preferred
• Prior experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries is preferred
• Experience implementing or optimizing automated controls and control testing tools is preferred
• Familiarity with corporate compliance programs
• Familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, and integrations
• Proficiency with compliance tools, GRC platforms, or test/evidence management systems
• Strong Excel and reporting skills
• Ability to present findings, influence control owners, and liaise with auditors and senior stakeholders
• Strong organizational and project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Advanced technical education and related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• Must be able to work at or near a Boeing facility within the United States
• Must be authorized to work in the United States;

Demonstrates extensive experience in leading IT SOX compliance programs, including hands-on expertise in internal controls, ITGC/ITAC testing, and automated control testing. Proficient in managing complex projects, facilitating compliance workshops, and producing operational reporting for senior stakeholders.
