Job Description Organization Overview, Function, Purpose & Platform Consultant Work ScopeThe team supports Allstate Health Solutions (AHS) technology platforms, enabling Product delivery, Platform modernization, Secure integrations and Operational stability across key platforms (Quotit, Agent Cubed, AHIT, Medicare Benefits)
This role sits at the intersection of platform engineering, solution design, and delivery execution, with a strong hands-on focus (not purely advisory)
Active Azure cloud migration and platform modernization initiatives
Growing complexity of API integrations and third-party ecosystems
Support strong delivery support (environments, pipelines, cutover readiness)
Managing data migration + compliance (PHI/PII, HITRUST) concerns
Highly cross-functional role, partnering with Product, Engineering, Platform, Security/Compliance, Infrastructure, Vendors
Operates as a bridge between business intent and engineering execution
Embedded within platform delivery streams, supporting modernization and integration work
Support platform solution design and integration strategies
Perform hands-on API validation and testing (e.g., Postman)
Assist in Azure migration planning, environment readiness, and cutover execution
Coordinate Dev Ops readiness:
Repo access, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes
Support data migration planning and validation (including PHI/PII considerations)
Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies across environments, security, and integrations
Collaborate with engineering to translate business requirements into implementable solutions
Produce technical documentation, decision logs, and stakeholder updates
7+ years progressive experience
- Hands-on API + integration experience
- Azure/cloud experience
- Working knowledge of Dev Ops (CI/CD, repos, deployments)
- Ability to execute within platform delivery (not just architect)
- Strong communication + documentation skills
- Work directly with engineers (debug, validate, iterate)
- Communicate across technical and business stakeholders
- Document risks, decisions, and dependencies clearly
- Tech stack exposure:
- .NET / C# / SQL / Cosmos DB
- Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub, Terraform, IaC tools
- Experience with:
- API tools (Postman)
- Cloud/data migration and cutover activities
- Regulated environments (HIPAA, PHI/PII, HITRUST)
- Exposure to:
- Microservices, event-driven architectures
- Vendor/platform integrations
- Emerging areas (Azure AI, OpenAI integrations)
The base salary for this role ranges from $130,000 to $150,000 annually. Please disregard the broader compensation range listed below, as it reflects the full job family rather than this specific position.
