Job DescriptionThe Transfer Acquisition Specialist is responsible for executing insurance book-of-business transfers for assigned independent agencies. This role manages defined transfer & conversion initiatives from planning through stabilization, ensuring accurate execution, policy conversion, and minimal disruption. The role operates within established guidelines and does not own underwriting, pricing, or long-term portfolio profitability.
Key Responsibilities Book Transfer & Conversion Execution- Manage and executes assigned agency book transfer and conversion initiatives
- Execute conversion timelines and sequencing for assigned books
- Supports and executes conversion of transferred quotes into bound policies
- Act as a primary point of contact for agencies during assigned conversions
- Provide guidance on conversion steps, workflows, and documentation
- Escalate issues or risks as needed
- Monitor conversion progress and quote-to-policy outcomes
- Support retention efforts during carrier transitions
- Identify conversion challenges and recommend corrective actions
- Partner with Sales, Underwriting, Operations, and Technology teams
- Support data migration, policy issuance, and renewal timing activities
- Track conversion metrics for assigned initiatives
- Maintain accurate reporting and provide status updates
- Flag risks or performance issues
- Experience working with independent agencies or agency operations
- Working knowledge of P&C insurance products
- Ability to sell and overcome objections
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Prior book transfer and conversion experience desired
- * 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
- * 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)
- * This job does not have supervisory duties.
- * In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

CompensationCompensation: $60,000 - $80,000 depending on experience and qualifications
