Our large financial client is currently seeking a Corporate Counsel with knowledge of negotiating and drafting contracts
This will be a contract position to start with potential to hire full time located in the Deerfield area (would start remote until further notice)
Responsibilities- Draft complex contracts from scratch
- Create drafts, track contracts, maintain department required metrics, and provide final signed versions for department files.
- Work closely with coverage attorneys and internal subject matter experts to communicate and apply sound legal judgment and standard processes in negotiating contracts, ensuring that corporate and legal guidelines are followed
- Redline and edit contracts
- JD
- 5+ years of experience negotiating contracts
- Should have a strong understanding of contract terms and conditions
