Vehicle Delivery Driver

Whether it’s delivering happiness to customers on the driveway or getting involved in the local community, our Customer Advocates are leading the charge in reintroducing happiness into the car‑buying process.

The hours for this position are from 11 am – 9 pm. We ask that team members be available to work 7 days a week. Days off will rotate between weekdays and weekend days.

We offer a competitive starting hourly rate of $17/hr with significant growth opportunities based on performance. You can boost your earnings within a short timeframe.

• Pay Range: $17‑$19 hourly
• Starting Pay: $17/hr
• At 3 Months: $17.50/hr
• At 6 Months: $18/hr

In your first year, you can progress from $17/hr to $19/hr through our performance‑based Careers Not Jobs program, which provides four merit opportunities annually. As part of this program, eligible team members can enjoy an additional $0.50 increase in their pay every 90 days. Market Operations may offer other performance‑based incentive programs specific to your location, potentially unlocking even greater earnings.

• Deliver vehicles straight to customers’ doors with our custom car haulers (no commercial license required; training provided).
• Frequently load/unload vehicles onto the hauler – a physical task – and regularly inspect the car‑hauler to ensure vehicles remain safe to drive.
• Complete customer paperwork and include thorough notes in our customer tracking system.
• Consistently drive safely and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with Carvana’s CMV Driver Qualification policy.
• Obtain a notary license within the first 90 days of employment (state‑specific requirements; process sponsored by Carvana). For details, see State Notary Requirements.
• Obtain access to DMV/title and registration systems (state‑specific).
• Illinois, Michigan, Louisiana, and Missouri employees must obtain a chauffeur’s license or other state specialty license within the first two weeks of employment (sponsored by Carvana).
• California employees must obtain a vehicle verifier license within the first 90 days of employment (sponsored by Carvana).

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as detailing vehicles and loading/unloading onto haulers in indoor and outdoor conditions, including occasional exposure to inclement or extreme weather.
• Ability to walk/stand and sustain physical activity for extended periods (8+ hours).
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Requires high and low levels of movement with the ability to reach, twist, kneel, crouch, climb, balance and squat.
• Requires grasping, carrying, lifting, pushing and pulling of items up to 50 lbs.
