ResponsibilitiesThe Custodian is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all areas, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and trash removal. Duties include cleaning restrooms and locker rooms (toilets, urinals, sinks, and showers), replenishing dispensers, dusting, cleaning windows, mirrors, and surfaces. Ensures high-touch areas are sanitized, and reports maintenance or safety issues as needed.
- Gather supplies and inspect areas
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Dust and wipe surfaces, windows, and mirrors
- Clean and disinfect restrooms and locker rooms
- Refill dispensers (soap, paper towels, toilet paper)
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors
- Spot clean walls, doors, and high-touch surfaces
- Restock supplies and report maintenance issues
- Other duties as assigned

Certifications:
CPR, First Aid, AED certifications;
Bloodborne Pathogens and Child Abuse Prevention training. - Previous experience with diverse populations preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with adults and youth.
- Comprehension of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.

- Ability to perform all physical aspects of the position, including pushing, pulling, walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Ability to work with cleaning equipment, chemical compounds, solvents, cleaners, and solutions in dry, liquid, powder, spray, and aerosol forms.
- Ability to clean the facility, and operate motorized equipment as needed.
