This is a part-time, on-call seasonal position based entirely on winter weather conditions. Employees are called in only when snow, ice, or other inclement weather creates a need for snow removal services.
Because hours are weather-dependent, there are no guaranteed hours or regular weekly schedule. During periods without winter weather events, employees may not be scheduled to work.
Candidates should understand that snow events can occur at any time and may require availability during early mornings, evenings, overnight hours, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities- Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots using shovels and other provided equipment
- Apply salt or de-icing materials to walkways and surfaces to prevent slips and falls
- Respond promptly to snow events as part of an on-call team, including overnight shifts as needed
- Maintain a high standard of safety and attention to detail while working in winter weather conditions
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient snow removal operations
- Dependable and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Available for on-call and overnight work during snow events
$30.00 per hour
