Job Summary
Oversee and manage the day to day operation of the National Accounts sales support team for the division. Support margin, sales growth and increased customer relationships by identifying optimum product mix for customers and identifying customer cost-savings opportunities, implementation, inventory availability and issue resolution. Ensure sales team is informed of sales and relationship maximization opportunities by customer.
Job Description- Oversee and manage the day to day operation of the National Accounts sales support team.
- Identify opportunities to increase margin and sales for the department. Identify optimal product mix by customer. Ensure product analysis and data presented to sales team is accurate and meaningful.
- Partner with customers to identify, recommend and maximize logistical efficiencies related to ordering and delivery.
- Prepare product mix proposals supporting sales team relative to new customer opportunities.
- Ensure inventory availability and access of products by working with internal inventory control teams.
- Provide managerial and project back-up for Division President as needed.
- Develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree.
Relevant Work Experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in the healthcare industry.
- At least 1 year of experience managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing people as they work.
- Experience using business analytical skills including facilitating requirements sessions and documenting activity workflows and business requirements. Additional
- Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing centered page and/or creating a pivot table).

The anticipated salary range for this position:

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
