We are looking for a senior leader to oversee a critical operational function focused on decision‑making, issue resolution, performance management, and risk oversight. Summary

This position is responsible for shaping the company’s credit strategy, guiding a team that manages credit decisions, dispute resolution, collections, and risk mitigation. Success in this role means ensuring strong cash flow, minimizing credit exposure, and maintaining a customer‑centric approach while upholding company policies and financial objectives. The leader in this seat will collaborate closely with senior leadership, sales, finance, and cross‑functional partners to align credit practices with broader business goals.

Key

Areas of Ownership Credit Strategy & Risk Management
  • Build, refine, and enforce credit policies that balance risk mitigation with business growth.
  • Oversee credit evaluations, financial statement reviews, and the approval of customer terms and limits.
  • Monitor payment behavior and recommend adjustments to credit terms as needed.
  • Ensure fraud prevention protocols are in place and continuously strengthened.
Collections Leadership
  • Drive timely, effective collection of outstanding balances while maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Lead strategies for early‑stage delinquency management and dispute resolution.
  • Oversee escalations to legal or third‑party agencies when appropriate.
  • Track and manage bad debt, recovery efforts, and performance against aging and DSO targets.
Analytics, Reporting & Compliance
  • Provide visibility into receivables performance, cash flow, DSO, and other key metrics.
  • Identify emerging risks and trends, recommending proactive solutions.
  • Support internal controls, audits, and credit insurance processes, including claim management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely calculation of monthly AR allowances.
Cross‑Functional Partnership
  • Work closely with sales, finance, customer service, and senior leadership to resolve issues and align on credit strategy.
  • Establish clear communication channels that support efficient processes and a strong customer experience.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on credit risk, fraud concerns, and strategic recommendations.
Process Optimization & Innovation
  • Champion continuous improvement across credit and collections workflows.
  • Introduce tools, automation, and technology that enhance efficiency and decision‑making.
  • Encourage creative problem‑solving and challenge outdated processes that hinder progress.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing team with clear expectations and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure training materials, documentation, and resources are current and accessible.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and strategic thinking.
  • Support hiring, performance management, and talent development initiatives.
Ideal Background
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of leadership experience overseeing teams in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong command of risk management, analysis, and structured decision‑making.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive change, and influence across an organization.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including presenting strategy and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Skilled in negotiation, relationship‑building, and navigating complex situations.
  • Proven track record of strategic problem‑solving and delivering high‑impact results.
  • Adaptability and resilience in an environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
