Director, Manufacturing Execution Systems; MES

We are looking for a Director, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to build and lead our MES business across the Americas. This is a unique player-coach role: you will start hands‑on—leading pre‑sales, delivery, and customer engagements—while progressively scaling a regional team as the business grows. If you are equally comfortable closing deals, delivering solutions, and building high‑performing teams, this is an opportunity to create and lead a regional MES capability from the ground up.

Roima delivers advanced manufacturing software solutions across industries including Consumer Packaged Goods, Life Sciences, Chemicals, Metals, and Logistics.

You will leverage a strong global ecosystem—including consulting, delivery, and product leadership (TilliT MES)—to scale impact across the Americas.

• Lead discovery, solution design, demos, and proposals for MES opportunities
• Partner with commercial teams to convert pipeline into deliverable projects
• Act as a trusted advisor and executive sponsor on strategic deals

• Lead MES implementations (initially hands‑on)
• Define delivery standards, methodologies, and quality controls
• Manage escalations and ensure successful customer outcomes
• Build and enable a network of implementation and reseller partners
• Drive partner‑led growth while ensuring delivery quality
• Establish governance, performance standards, and engagement models

• Hire, develop, and scale a regional MES team
• Design training programs and certification paths
• Build a high‑performing organization aligned to business KPIs

• Act as the senior MES authority in the Americas
• Represent Roima in customer engagements and industry events
• Translate market insights into product and strategy improvements

• 10+ years of experience in MES, industrial software, or automation
• Strong experience across pre‑sales and delivery
• Track record of engaging and influencing senior stakeholders (VP/C‑level)
• Experience building or scaling teams or partner ecosystems
• Hands‑on experience with MES platforms (e.g., AVEVA, Ignition, Siemens, Rockwell, GE Proficy, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Willingness to travel across the Americas (~30%)

• Experience scaling a regional business or function
• Background in industries such as CPG, Food & Beverage, Life Sciences, or Chemicals
• Experience in Latin American markets (especially Brazil)
• Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills
