CLS Operations Manager
Full-Time | Exempt | Community Living Services (CLS)
Shift: Flexible
Participation in on-call rotation required
As the CLS Operations Manager, you will:
- Leadership & Staff Development
- Lead, coach, and supervise Team Leads and Direct Support Professionals while building a positive, accountable, and engaged team culture
- Resolve employee concerns and provide ongoing support
- Oversee multiple community-integrated homes
- Ensure individuals receive safe, high-quality, person-centered supports
- Maintain compliance with state regulations, licensing standards, HIPAA, and agency policies
- Promote positive relationships with individuals served, families, guardians, and community partners
- Ensure all abuse and neglect allegations are properly reported as a mandated reporter
- Administrative Responsibilities
- Manage scheduling and staffing & Track attendance, PTO, and payroll functions
- Ensure medication administration documentation is accurate
- Maintain program records and compliance documentation
- Manage assigned agency resources, vehicles, and facilities
Required:
- Supervisory or management experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to lead multiple teams
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience managing employee performance
- Ability to work independently while supporting multiple locations
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in human services or related field
- Experience supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)
- Experience in Community Living Services or residential programming
- Knowledge of Illinois DHS/CILA regulations
- Experience with scheduling, payroll, and compliance documentation
Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
