• Oversee safety performance and day‑to‑day work activities of approximately 20 hourly employees.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, cost performance, and production goals.
• Coordinate maintenance repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain on‑shift productivity, quality, safety, housekeeping, and scrap control.
• Enforce company/department goals, policies, and procedures.
• Complete daily shift reports detailing EAF, LMF, and continuous caster performance.
• Develop and implement plans to increase productivity and quality while reducing costs at the EAF, LMF, and caster.
• Occasionally direct the Maintenance Supervisor and Raw Material Supervisor.
• Train new employees to the work area and complete all progress reports in a timely manner.
• Interface effectively with other supervisory personnel, other department members, and ISWA personnel.

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school and six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
• High school graduate with a minimum of three (3) years of melting and/or casting experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Capability to supervise employees according to union rules and regulations.
• Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft software.

$59,400 – $74,300 (SG22)
