Forklift Operator Night Shift

Overview

Plastipak in Champaign is growing & hiring. We manufacture packaging for products you use every day. Our facility is extremely clean, safe & climate‑controlled. Joining us as a Forklift Operator is a great way to get started with Plastipak.

Shift: Nights 6:45pm – 7:15am. Standard rotating schedule of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off, including 2 long weekends every month. Full‑time schedules are 15 working days a month.

Pay:
Earn $20.25 per hour / $19.25 per hour + $1.00 night shift differential.

• Safely operate forklift.
• Use RF scanning device to maintain inventory records.
• Transport raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Keep equipment clean.
• Learn new skills through ongoing training.

• A valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of one year of forklift experience.
• Dependability & pride in a job well‑done.
• Ability to use basic hand tools such as wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
