Forklift Driver​/Reach - 1st Shift

The Material Handler is responsible for storing, moving, and handling products and materials using a stand‑up reach truck. Material Handlers work in a structured environment to minimize safety risks and must be reliable and able to work with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times.

• Identifies, transports, packs, removes, and disposes of products and materials.
• Operates forklifts, stand‑up reach trucks, handcarts, or pallet jacks to pick, replenish, shuttle, and load/unload orders.
• Maintains inventory levels as directed.
• Feeds lines with product as scheduled or directed by supervision or line leads.
• Ships and receives materials throughout the shift.
• Operates all equipment in a safe manner.
• Counts, weighs, and records numbers of units or materials moved or handled.
• Ensures that moved product is identified and labeled correctly.
• Performs required housekeeping to maintain 5S and keep work areas clean (sweeping floors, putting trash into containers, picking stray product up from the floor).
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

• Knowledgeable in GMPs or willingness to learn.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification within 90 days.
• Ability to operate stand‑up and extended forklifts.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• English reading and writing skills preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Previous material handling experience a plus, varies by location.

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to various machines, noise levels, and varying temperatures.
• Team environment; must work collaboratively and communicate respectfully and professionally.
• Must be able to work necessary overtime based on staffing needs and customer demand, as well as across shifts.

• Reaching with hands/arms throughout the day.
• Lift up to 90 lbs assisted and 40 lbs unassisted.
• Stand up to 80% of scheduled time.
• Walk, climb, and/or balance throughout shift.

Starting Pay:
Material Handler I $16.90/hr individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full‑time employees including health, dental, 401(k), and wellness benefits beginning on the 90th day of employment.
