Job Description:
As a Distribution Technician, you will receive, process, pack, and ship blood products and samples for hospital orders, triage orders based on date and time needed, and communicate with hospital clients, volunteers, and vendors while maintaining product records to preserve traceability.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure products/samples are suitable for release for distribution while meeting production goals.
- Perform inventory management throughout the manufacturing and shipping processes.
- Prioritize workload to meet production and customer requirements.
- Perform data entry for manufacturing, labeling, storage, ordering, and shipping; maintain accurate physical and electronic records.
- Analyze and make decisions based on visual inspection and information from other departments to meet time requirements and quality standards.
- Identify and quarantine products/samples that do not meet quality requirements, and perform disposition of unacceptable product.
- May make hospital deliveries as assigned.

Schedule and CompensationStandard
Schedule:
Sunday–Thursday; 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.
Pay: $18.00 per hour plus applicable shift differentials ($2.00 more per hour for Sunday hours).
Note:
Candidates must be able to train full time on day shift (Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm) for the first 4–6 weeks of employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years’ experience in a regulatory, distribution, or manufacturing environment is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good computer skills, attention to detail, accurate documentation, and good decision‑making skills.
- Position may require a valid driver’s license.
Requires standing, stretching, stooping and bending for extended periods. Lift, pull, push and move objects up to 50 pounds. May work in walk‑in refrigerator/freezers for periods of time. May be required to wear protective clothing such as lab coats, gloves, face shields, etc.
