Overview
Rheo Flexibles Production, Peoria, IL — Full-Time, Second Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday–Friday). Pay starts at $20.50 per hour with potential for growth. This role is part of a fast-growing team that builds powder handling systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing in a cleanroom environment.
The Assembler I works on the Rheo Flexibles production team, assembling custom powder handling products, following detailed procedures, and upholding quality standards.
Responsibilities- Assemble Rheo Flexibles products in an ISO 7 cleanroom, following procedures and quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints and multi-step work instructions to meet design specifications
- Operate custom plastic heat sealing equipment to weld and assemble flexible components
- Operate vacuum forming equipment as assigned
- Perform pre- and post-assembly quality inspections to verify conformance to standards
- Run basic CNC machine operations (no programming required) per standard procedures
- Adhere to cleanroom cleaning and contamination control protocols
- Wear required PPE consistently in applicable work areas
- Contribute to team production targets in both throughput and quality
- Assemblies completed on time, to spec, and pass inspection without rework
- Cleanroom protocols and PPE requirements followed consistently
- Reliable performance so the team can depend on you
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and multi-step written and verbal instructions
- Detail-oriented — quality is non-negotiable
- Dependable — reliable and capable of following through
- Hands-on aptitude with precise, physical work
- Adaptable — learns quickly and adjusts as processes evolve
- Basic computer proficiency (Windows, data entry, standard applications)
- Basic familiarity with ERP software (Epicor Kinetic preferred)

- Experience in a cleanroom or regulated manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with heat sealing, vacuum forming, or CNC equipment
This role is performed primarily on the production floor and in an ISO 7 cleanroom. You will wear cleanroom-appropriate PPE and may need to stand for extended periods, with physical activities including bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Overtime may be required based on production demand, potentially including occasional Saturdays.
