Job Summary:
We are seeking a Production Line Worker to join our dedicated team, playing a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, processing, and packaging fudge and sauce products while adhering to strict safety and sanitation regulations (GMP’s). You will be expected to perform quality, weight, and metal detection checks, and meticulously documenting results to meet our high standards.

Responsibilities:
- Production Line Operation: Set up, operate, clean, and maintain food processing machinery and equipment
- Documentation: Maintain accurate production logs, including batch/lot numbers and temperatures
- Production Output: Ensure daily production standards and goals are met
- Quality Control: Weigh pre-scale items to prepare for use in production. Follow GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and sanitation procedures to ensure product safety.
- Inspection: Perform visual quality checks on all products by making sure all fudge/sauces meet expected quality standards
- Pre-Production Prep: Preparing all pre-scale items needed according to production schedule to ensure proper materials and quantities are used in manufacturing
- Set-Up/Shutdown: Daily assembly and disassembly of fudge/sauce kettles and all associated food processing equipment
- Sanitation: Clean and sanitize work areas, tools, and equipment throughout and at the end of each shift
Qualifications:
- High School or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- 1-2 years food manufacturing experience is a plus
- Ability to communicate (read & write) in English
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for a prolonged period of time (10 hours)
- Knowledge of SQF/BRC standards are a plus
