MIG Welder – $24–$30/hr DOE | Temp-to-Hire

Labor Max Staffing is hiring MIG Welders for a growing, established manufacturing company in the Chillicothe, IL area.

Our client is seeking dependable MIG welders for 1st and 2nd shifts. These are temp-to-hire opportunities with starting pay of $24–$30 per hour, based on experience.

What You'll Do

• Perform MIG welding and fabrication on a variety of manufacturing projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications
• Measure, mark, lay out, and prepare materials for fabrication
• Set up and operate welding and fabrication equipment
• Weld in various positions, including standing, seated, and kneeling
• Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality
• Follow company safety and welding procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Work effectively with supervisors and team members to keep production moving

What We're Looking For

MIG welding experience is preferred. Candidates with welding education or training who can demonstrate their skills through the client's weld-testing process may also be considered.

We're especially looking for candidates who are dependable, have strong attendance, take pride in their work, have reliable transportation, and are interested in a long-term opportunity.

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM–12:00 AM/1:00 AM

Pay:$24–$30/hr DOE
