The Executive Director will oversee the organization's overall strategy, ensure program effectiveness, and lead fundraising efforts. They will manage daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure proper collaboration between stakeholders, including parents, educators, and local organizations. The role involves budgeting, financial oversight, grant writing, and fostering partnerships to help achieve the organization’s mission. This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in the Greater Chicago Area.
Qualifications- Strong leadership, organizational management, and strategic planning skills
- Experience in program development, budgeting, and financial oversight
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication, relationship building, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders
- Grant writing and fundraising expertise, coupled with a knowledge of development strategies
- Ability to manage and inspire teams, build community partnerships, and represent the organization publicly
- Familiarity or experience in early childhood education, non‑profit leadership, or advocacy
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Education, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field
